Capital Campaign:
Thanks to the generosity of many donors, this month we met the halfway mark in our capital campaign to raise $106,834 to renovate the new center.

Some of our major donors to date include:
  · Barresi Financial, our first $1,000 business sponsor.
  · Davis Family Foundation, who provided a grant of $12,500 thanks in part to the strong endorsement of our local supporter, Brian Hamel.
  · Presque Isle Rotary Club, whose commitment of $2,000 to Wintergreen from their December 2009 auction special projects fund will help us complete our campaign.
  · Donald and Linda Zillman, $5,000 sponsors of the Poet's Corner.

Most excitingly, we recently received news that Wintergreen will be awarded a matching grant of $25,000 from the Cultural Facilities Accessibility program of the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. This grant offers you a unique opportunity to double the dollars you give to the Wintergreen Arts Center.
