\"PIHS<\/a>Photography mini sessions also available for family holiday snapshots<\/em><\/h3>\n

Presque Isle, Maine<\/strong>\u2014Members of the Presque Isle High School (PIHS) Class of 2020 and the Wintergreen Arts Center are gearing up to host a Children\u2019s Christmas Craft Day on November 25, Small Business Saturday, during the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend.<\/p>\n

Shaye Elizabeth Photography will also be on site with photography mini sessions throughout the day for families to sit for holiday snapshots.\u00a0 All proceeds from the day go to the PIHS Class of 2020.<\/p>\n

The goal of this event is to offer safe, creative childcare to parents who wish to shop or dine locally with the peace of mind knowing their children are having just as much fun as they are, or more.<\/p>\n

Shoppers are invited to drop off their children at the Wintergreen Arts Center anytime between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm for a few fun-filled hours of crafts, games, face painting, healthy snacks, treats, and more.\u00a0 The cost is $10.00 per child.<\/p>\n

Parents may also call the Center now at (207) 762-3576 to book a photography mini session with Shaye Elizabeth Photography.\u00a0 The cost is $30 per session.\u00a0 Sessions are booked every 20 minutes from 10:00 am to 2: 40 pm.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to participate in Small Business Saturday in such a meaningful way,\u201d said Paige McHatten, secretary, PIHS Class of 2020.\u00a0 \u201cThis is so much more than a fundraiser for our class.\u00a0 We hope parents will take advantage of this opportunity to have their children entertained while they enjoy some time on their own to shop and appreciate our local restaurants.\u00a0 I\u2019m also looking forward to my classmates experiencing the magic of Wintergreen and all it has to offer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wintergreen\u2019s play kitchen, train and sensory tables, standing easels with paint and paper, children\u2019s books, and wooden blocks will also be available for the children to play with and enjoy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe look forward to assisting Presque Isle\u2019s Class of 2020 with this event,\u201d said Dottie Hutchins, Wintergreen\u2019s executive director.\u00a0 \u201cIt is completely the students\u2019 idea and I believe they have identified a real need in our community\u2014quality childcare on Small Business Saturday.\u00a0 We also hope families will take advantage of the Christmas Minis too.\u201d<\/p>\n
