{"id":2173,"date":"2019-05-23T14:27:17","date_gmt":"2019-05-23T14:27:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wintergreenarts.org\/wordpress\/?p=2173"},"modified":"2019-05-23T14:27:22","modified_gmt":"2019-05-23T14:27:22","slug":"brittany-delano-joins-wintergreen-board-of-directors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.wintergreenarts.org\/wordpress\/brittany-delano-joins-wintergreen-board-of-directors\/","title":{"rendered":"Brittany Delano joins Wintergreen Board of Directors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>PRESQUE ISLE, Maine<\/strong>\u2014 Brittany Delano recently joined the Wintergreen Arts Center Board of Directors.&nbsp; A native of Presque Isle, Brittany studied drafting at local colleges earning an associate degree at Northern Maine Community College and bachelor\u2019s degree at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"482\" height=\"623\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wintergreenarts.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Harper-Brittany-and-Barrett-Delano-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2175\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.wintergreenarts.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Harper-Brittany-and-Barrett-Delano-1.jpg 482w, http:\/\/www.wintergreenarts.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Harper-Brittany-and-Barrett-Delano-1-232x300.jpg 232w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 482px) 100vw, 482px\" \/><figcaption>(L to R) Harper, Brittany, and Barrett Delano<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nCurrently a stay-at-home mom, Brittany plans to pursue a drafting career once her children are older.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut for now,\u201d Brittany says, \u201cmy creativity is shared\nthrough my sign making and love of interior design.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brittany enjoys that her current schedule allows her\nchildren to take part in many programs the community has to offer including\nWintergreen\u2019s creative preschool, Under the Willow Tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWintergreen\u2019s Under the Willow Tree program is by far one\nof the best decisions we have made for both of our children,\u201d said\nBrittany.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJoining the board is important to me because being a\nWintergreen Mom, I have seen firsthand the growth that comes from the programs\nWintergreen offers,\u201d Brittany added.&nbsp;\n\u201cAnd, I feel it is essential to the community that Wintergreen continues\nto encourage the arts and inspire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kim Guerrette Michaud, Wintergreen\u2019s Board Chair, said, \u201cWe\nare so excited to welcome Brittany.&nbsp; Her\ninsight as a parent, coupled with her creativity and caring nature will help us\nguide and grow Wintergreen\u2019s ability to serve our communities for years to\ncome.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brittany lives in Presque Isle with her husband Jake and\ntheir two children, Barrett and Harper.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>Related Images:<\/h3>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRESQUE ISLE, Maine\u2014 Brittany Delano recently joined the Wintergreen Arts Center Board of Directors.&nbsp; A native of Presque Isle, Brittany studied drafting at local colleges earning an associate degree at Northern Maine Community College and bachelor\u2019s degree at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
