PRESQUE ISLE, Maine<\/strong>\u2014Registration\nis now open for Wintergreen Art Center\u2019s Summer Arts Program.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camps begin on June 28, 2020, and include Art with HeART\nlocated at 39 Davis Street in partnership with the Presque Isle Housing\nAuthority, and digital and visual arts camps at Wintergreen\u2019s new location at\nthe Aroostook Centre Mall.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very excited to welcome Shaye McHatten back to our\nSummer Arts Program,\u201d said Dottie Hutchins, Wintergreen\u2019s executive\ndirector.  \u201cFrom her signature program,\nArt with HeART, to Create-a-Castle Camp, STEAM Camp, and more, this is Shaye\u2019s\nfifth year touching young lives through the visual arts at Wintergreen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Josh Archer, Wintergreen\u2019s digital arts teacher, is leading\na series of weekly digital arts camps throughout the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJosh is doing amazing things at Wintergreen,\u201d said\nHutchins.  \u201cHe is making all his favorite\nafterschool sessions into weekly arts camps\u2014robotics, video production, and more\u2014so\nwe\u2019ll have weekly digital arts camps from June through the middle of August.  It is an action-packed, fun-filled lineup.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July and August, additional weekly arts camps will be offered at the Sargent Family Community Center in partnership with the Presque Isle Parks and Recreation Department. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are pleased to announce that Melanie Cyr, Wintergreen\u2019s private\nparty planner, is joining our summer arts teaching staff,\u201d added Hutchins.  \u201cIn July and August, Melanie is teaching\nphotography, arts & crafts, and a nature-themed camp at the Rec Center for\nus.  We are so excited to partner with\nthe Rec Department\u2019s team and have Melanie on location.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
