PRESQUE ISLE, Maine<\/strong>\u2014Registration opens on May 2, 2022, for Wintergreen Arts Center\u2019s Summer Arts Camps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camps begin on June 27, 2022, with Wintergreen\u2019s Summer Art at the Rec program based out of the Sargent Family Community Center. On July 5, Wintergreen kicks off Art with HeART located at 39 Davis Street in partnership with the Presque Isle Housing Authority, along with multiple Summer Arts Camps at the Wintergreen Arts Center.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very excited to welcome Shaye McHatten back for the month of July,\u201d said Dottie Hutchins, Wintergreen\u2019s executive director.  \u201cFrom her signature program, Art with HeART, to Spy Camp, Unicorn Camp, STEAM Camp, and more, this is Shaye\u2019s sixth summer touching young lives through the visual arts at Wintergreen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June through August, nature-based arts camps will be offered at the Sargent Family Community Center in partnership with the Presque Isle Parks and Recreation Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMelanie Cyr, Wintergreen\u2019s private party planner, is also returning to head up our Summer Art at the Rec program,\u201d added Hutchins.  \u201cMelanie\u2019s students enjoy photography, arts & crafts, and nature-themed camps while exploring Presque Isle\u2019s beautiful parks and trails.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterschool arts teacher, Alyssa Addington, will host visual and digital arts camps at Wintergreen, while Zoey Violette brings a new musical storytelling camp to Wintergreen\u2019s summer lineup in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
