PRESQUE ISLE, Maine—Wintergreen Arts Center is featuring young artists during August for the Summer Arts Showcase. The opening reception for their show will be held at the Wintergreen Arts Center in the Aroostook Center Mall on Friday, August 7, from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM.

The showcase will feature work from students who attended Wintergreen Summer Arts Camps and the Art with HeART program at the Presque Isle Housing Authority. Students will be displaying work from a variety of mediums such as sculpture, photography, painting, and more. This event celebrates the work that the students have put into their artwork and gives opportunities for students to see their work displayed in a gallery setting.

“We are thrilled to be featuring art from Wintergreen students from the Summer of 2026,” says Allyson Midgley, Wintergreen Executive Director. “This event is such an amazing showcasing of all the work that students have put in this summer. It is a great way for families to engage with their student’s artwork and to celebrate their accomplishments.”

Join Wintergreen in celebrating Summer Arts with so many young artists showing several different mediums. The show is free and open to the public. Refreshment will be served..
