“2026 marks our 15th anniversary of THE WINTERGREEN EXPRESS,” said Gretchen Violette, Wintergreen’s co-executive director. “Santa and his Elves are busy getting ready, and we are all excited for Molly the Trolley and MSAD#1’s Big Blue to take families on the magical ride again this year.”

WINTERGREEN EXPRESS 2026 is presented by Barresi Financial, a Division of United Insurance.
“We appreciate Barresi Financial and our event sponsors, Katahdin Trust Company and Porter Farms, for making this community event possible,” Gretchen added. “Sincere thanks also go out to the dozens of volunteers who make this holiday tradition so special for all to enjoy.”
Families board their magical ride to the North Pole at the Sargent Family Community Center.

Roundtrip tickets are $17 each. Everyone needs a ticket to ride. All children must be accompanied by at least one ticketed adult. Little ones, 12-months and younger ride free. Upon purchase, ticket holders receive an email receipt indicating the date and time of their ticket(s) to the North Pole.
Join a joyful cast of characters for this very special holiday visit to the North Pole where Santa’s Elves serve hot cocoa, sing, and talk with all the boys and girls.
