Since 2012, Santa has been riding the WINTERGREEN EXPRESS to Presque Isle. Thanks to our sponsors, community partners, and dozens of volunteers of all ages, families from across Aroostook Community experience the magic of the holidays.
The WINTERGREEN EXPRESS is coming to Presque Isle
on December 12 & 13, 2025!

Just $17 per roundtrip ticket.
All rides start at the Sargent Family Community Center.
Friday Night Tickets: Rides start at 5:00 pm and run every 30 minutes through 7:30 pm.
Saturday Night Tickets: Rides start at 4:00 pm and run every 30 minutes through 7:30 pm.
Hop aboard Molly the Trolley or MSAD#1’s Big Blue and take a magical ride from the Sargent Family Community Center to the North Pole at the Aroostook Centre Mall.
Please join us for this very special holiday visit to the North Pole where Santa’s Helpers serve hot cocoa, and the Elves sing and talk with all the boys and girls. Families will have fun decorating and eating delicious sugar cookies and visiting with Santa Claus. Little ones get a souvenir jingle bell too!
This event is intended for children ages 10 and under. Everyone needs a ticket to ride!

Will there be a Polar Express in 2017?
Yes, we will actually be having 2 weekends this year. The 8th/9th as well as the 15th/16th of December. We will be announcing the sale dates this week. Stay tuned!
Are the children encouraged to wear their pj’s for the ride? Should be a fun time.
Yes, absolutely! The adults are also welcome to wear theirs too!
