very special First Friday Downtown Art Walk.

In celebration of our ten-year anniversary, the Wintergreen Arts Center will be holding an opening reception for a one-of-a-kind showing of artwork, on Friday August 5, from 6pm to 8pm. Items on display will range from acrylic to oil paintings, watercolors and photographs, digital media and resin art, to sculpture and much more.
The Wintergreen Arts Center is hoping to bring art awareness to the community by showcasing a variety of talents and skills. Many members of the Wintergreen family are seen as advocates for the arts, while they are rarely given the opportunity to display their own creativity. This show will give the community a chance to see these artists in a new light.
The works of Wintergreen Teachers, Staff and Board Members, both past and present, will be on display for the entire month of August. Select pieces will be available for purchase.
First Friday’s Art Walk is designed to be an event where people can meet, unwind, and enjoy the arts on the first Friday of every month. Wintergreen hosts a new artist or group every month to show their work. In addition, a local band or musician plays through the course of the evening, when available.
Hours for First Friday at Wintergreen are 6:00-8:00p.m.
Light refreshments will be served.
