Homeschoolers’ Class 4

Homeschoolers’ Class

is on Vacation.

Have a nice summer!

Evelyn Kok

Students in our last Homeschoolers’ Class learned about the work of local artist, Evelyn Kok.  Mrs. Kok enjoyed many different kinds of art and loved sharing it in schools and with children.
Mrs. Hillary Blanchard talked with the students about Evelyn’s life and the class visited the Mary & Emily Turner Memorial Library to learn more.  Librarian Sonja Eyler took the students on a tour of the library where they viewed several pieces of Mrs. Kok’s work.  Arriving back at Wintergreen the students created their own unique designs with some of the art supplies Evelyn’s family donated to the Center.

Hi Keren: So sorry for my late response. We pay so much attention to Facebook, we sometimes miss website messages. I think you attended our September session with Judy Sherman. We’re doing the follow-up class for that on Wednesday, October 26, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Please give us a call at 762-3576. I hope this is helpful. Thank you, Dottie
